However, the jam added a nice tartness that almost balanced out the rest of the pie, but not quite enough. The cookie crust was soft and crumbly, which provided some extra texture to the pie slice, but didn’t add much flavor-wise to the overall bite. 

Unfortunately for Patrick Star, the Star-Berry Shortcake Pie fell short for me and wasn’t my favorite thing in the world. In fact, I kind of wish that instead of a pie, we got a strawberry shortcake sundae or cookie. But again, if you love your sweets or are just craving something sweet, then I recommend trying it at least once.
